The on-site restaurant served local food, which was interesting. at least for the first couple of meals. The extensive gardens were great for wandering around aimlessly, trying to escape the monotony of the food. Tea and coffee services were available from 06:00.if you could drag yourself out of bed that early. So convenient!
Oh, and let's not forget the delightful rustic-style décor. Because nothing says luxury like old, creaky furniture and peeling wallpaper.

The restaurant serves. Yeah, sure, you can find seating areas, international-style restaurants, gardens, and tea and coffee services everywhere. So unique!
Oh, and who needs a fridge in the room? Totally unnecessary!

I always return to my favorite place in Rincon. The staff found my lost bracelet, making me feel cared for. With free Wi-Fi, parking, airport shuttle, laundry, and more. I can't wait to come back for New Year's!

We got great value for our money at the Danta Corcovado Lodge. The rooms were unique and well maintained, with clean linens and comfortable beds. The location was amazing, surrounded by nature and close to their own trails where we saw monkeys and interesting birds.
The breakfast option could have been improved with more alternatives for those who prefer non-dairy and egg-free options.

The villas at this lodge are outstanding, with open sides that offer stunning views of the surrounding forest and a beautiful small winding river. the Gaudi-esque bathroom is spacious and provides a unique experience. the lodge's location near Corcovado Park allows for plenty of wildlife sightings, including toucans, monkeys, and parrots.
Some guests mentioned that the lodge can be difficult to access without a car.

The villas were outstanding with beautiful views of the surrounding forest. the open design allowed us to feel immersed in nature. the lodge area had a winding river, bridges, and several kilometers of trails, perfect for exploring and spotting wildlife. We saw toucans, monkeys, lizards, and parrots right from our porch. the location was also great, adjacent to a national park, offering the opportunity to see animals in their natural habitat.
The regular rooms in the main building were not as nice as the villas. the open bathroom design lacked privacy, and the ventilation was limited.

The staff were incredibly friendly and always had a smile on their faces. The food and cocktails were top-notch, and the design of the place was impressive. We saw lots of squirrel monkeys and toucans on the property.
Felt completely relaxed, no reason to complain.

Text: I loved strolling through the extensive gardens, it felt like getting lost in Alice's Wonderland. And oh, the tea and coffee services available from 6am were a lifesaver for this coffee addict! Definitely made up for the lack of other dining options. 😏
So glad I could only rely on the on-site restaurant for food. Who needs variety when you can have the same old local cuisine every day?

The rooms at Danta Corcovado Lodge are cozy and comfortable, with a rustic charm that makes you feel right at home. The kitchen is well-equipped, perfect for cooking your own meals. The private bathrooms are clean and the hot showers are a real treat after a long day of exploring.
I personally found the bunk beds in the single bedroom to be a bit uncomfortable, but that's just my personal preference. Others might not mind them at all.
